Welcome to the website of Safe Assembly Project, Inc. (“Safe Assembly Project,” “SAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, educational materials, online resources, registrations, and other services made available through this website.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About Safe Assembly Project
Safe Assembly Project, Inc. is a Nevada nonprofit corporation organized to provide charitable and educational programs related to safety, security, emergency preparedness, and resilience for faith-based and community organizations.
Our mission is:
Helping faith communities prepare, protect, respond, and recover.
Our activities may include educational training, facility security assessments, emergency planning, situational-awareness education, de-escalation, medical and emergency-preparedness education, public-safety partnerships, security resources, and related programs.
Safe Assembly Project is seeking recognition of federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Until such recognition has been received, the website should not represent that IRS recognition has already been granted.
2. Educational Purposes Only
Information provided through this website, newsletters, downloads, videos, presentations, checklists, training materials, or other resources is provided for general educational and informational purposes.
Information provided by Safe Assembly Project should not be considered a substitute for advice from qualified professionals, including:
Law enforcement agencies
Fire and emergency medical services
Emergency-management professionals
Attorneys
Insurance professionals
Licensed security professionals
Medical professionals
Qualified facility or safety professionals
Every organization, facility, emergency, threat, and security environment is different. Users are responsible for determining whether information provided by Safe Assembly Project is appropriate for their particular circumstances.
3. No Guarantee of Safety or Prevention
Safety and security involve inherent risks.
Safe Assembly Project cannot and does not guarantee that any assessment, recommendation, training program, policy, equipment, security measure, emergency plan, or other service will prevent crime, violence, injury, property damage, emergencies, or loss of life.
Participation in Safe Assembly Project programs does not create a guarantee that a person or organization will be protected from every foreseeable or unforeseeable threat.
Our programs are intended to help organizations improve preparedness, awareness, planning, communication, and response capabilities.
4. Emergency Situations
Safe Assembly Project is not an emergency-response agency.
Do not use this website, email, contact forms, social media, or other Safe Assembly Project communications to report an active emergency or request immediate emergency assistance.
If you believe there is an immediate threat to life or property, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement agency.
Safe Assembly Project does not replace law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, emergency management, or other public-safety authorities.
5. Facility Assessments and Recommendations
Safe Assembly Project may provide facility safety or security assessments, consultations, educational evaluations, or recommendations.
Assessments represent observations and recommendations based upon conditions reasonably observable at the time of the assessment and the scope of services agreed upon.
An assessment should not be interpreted as:
A guarantee that all vulnerabilities have been identified;
A certification that a facility is “safe” or “secure”;
A guarantee that recommended improvements will prevent an incident;
An engineering, architectural, legal, insurance, or regulatory inspection unless expressly stated; or
A replacement for assessments required by governmental authorities, insurers, licensed professionals, or other qualified parties.
Conditions may change after an assessment is completed, and organizations remain responsible for evaluating and maintaining their own facilities, procedures, personnel, and security measures.
6. Training and Participation
Certain Safe Assembly Project programs may involve practical exercises, demonstrations, scenario-based education, emergency-preparedness exercises, defensive concepts, medical training, or other activities involving inherent risks.
Participation may require additional:
Registration agreements;
Safety acknowledgments;
Liability waivers;
Medical disclosures;
Parental or guardian consent;
Facility agreements; or
Program-specific terms.
Participants must follow all instructor directions, safety procedures, facility rules, and applicable laws.
Safe Assembly Project reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation when an individual presents a safety concern, violates program rules, disrupts training, misrepresents qualifications, or engages in inappropriate or unlawful conduct.
7. Firearms and Defensive Training
Certain educational programs may address defensive concepts or firearms-related safety topics when permitted by law and authorized by Safe Assembly Project.
Firearms instruction, when offered, will be conducted through appropriately qualified instructors and at legally authorized facilities.
Live-fire activities, if offered through an approved program or provider, will be conducted separately from ordinary classroom and scenario-based education and will be subject to additional safety requirements, participant agreements, range rules, applicable laws, and instructor requirements.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as encouraging unlawful possession, carrying, display, or use of a firearm or other defensive device.
Participants are responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
8. No Law-Enforcement Authority
Safe Assembly Project is not a law-enforcement agency, governmental organization, militia, paramilitary organization, or armed enforcement organization.
Our employees, volunteers, instructors, directors, contractors, and participants do not receive law-enforcement authority merely through their affiliation with Safe Assembly Project.
Our programs emphasize preparedness, prevention, responsible decision-making, de-escalation, protection of life, emergency response, and appropriate cooperation with public-safety agencies.
9. Donations
Safe Assembly Project may accept charitable contributions through its website or other approved methods.
Unless otherwise stated, donations are intended to support the organization's overall charitable mission and programs.
Donations designated for a particular initiative will be administered consistent with applicable law and organizational policies. Safe Assembly Project retains appropriate control and discretion over charitable funds consistent with donor restrictions and applicable law.
Tax deductibility should not be assumed solely because a payment is made through this website.
Because Safe Assembly Project is currently seeking recognition of federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3), donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding the deductibility and treatment of contributions until the organization's federal tax status has been determined.
Safe Assembly Project does not provide individual tax advice.
10. Program Fees, Memberships and Registrations
Safe Assembly Project may offer free, reduced-fee, sponsored, membership-based, or paid educational programs and services.
Pricing, eligibility, cancellation policies, refund policies, and program-specific requirements may vary and will be disclosed when applicable.
Payment of a program fee or membership does not guarantee access to every Safe Assembly Project program, service, assessment, instructor, or resource.
11. Third-Party Providers and Resources
Safe Assembly Project may provide information about or work with third-party instructors, security professionals, vendors, public-safety agencies, nonprofits, equipment providers, consultants, or other organizations.
References to third parties do not necessarily constitute an endorsement or guarantee.
Users and participating organizations remain responsible for evaluating third-party products and services before entering into agreements or making purchasing decisions.
Safe Assembly Project may establish additional vetting or partnership standards for providers participating directly in its programs.
12. Conflicts and Related Businesses
Certain directors, officers, founders, instructors, contractors, or other persons associated with Safe Assembly Project may also have interests in independent businesses operating in security, training, equipment, consulting, or related industries.
Safe Assembly Project operates separately from those businesses.
Potential related-party transactions are subject to the organization's conflict-of-interest procedures and applicable Board oversight.
No affiliation with Safe Assembly Project guarantees a private business referrals, purchases, contracts, or other financial benefits.
